Cromarty Firth Service Base, Invergordon
Owned and operated by the Cromarty Firth Port Authority, the service base is the premier port in Europe for oil rig inspection, repair and maintenance. It is also a leading service base for the subsea industry, with 70% of the port’s business linked to oil related activities. The port is able to accommodate all types of vessels.
Berth facilities include the Nigg Oil Terminal, the Saltburn Pier, Admiralty Pier, the Service Base (1, 2, 3 and 4), Queen’s Dock and the Deephaven Supply Base, accommodating vessel lengths from 80m up to 316m with water depths ranging from 6.0m up to 14.0m.
Services available throughout the Cromarty Firth include dedicated bulk cargo handling facilities at the Admiralty and Saltburn piers, with both rail mounted and mobile grabbing cranes and hoppers.
